The lifelong Whaler from nearby Virginia Beach currently leads the Whalers with nine points through 10 games in his third USPHL season. Taylor posted two regulation time goals plus one shootout goal and an assist over the Jersey Hitmen in a weekend sweep up north.
Defense: Matthew Warrington, Charlotte Rush
Another USPHL veteran, Warrington (‘02/Merrimack, N.H.) registered a goal and three assists to help the Rush in their weekend sweep of Nashville. He additionally was a +3 with 11 takeaways on the weekend.
Goaltender: Evan Crawford, Charlotte Rush
The junior rookie Crawford (‘04/Greenwich, Conn.) improved to 3-0 in the young season with a 21-save shutout against the Nashville Spartans on Oct. 1.
