North Division

Forward: Luke Haynes, Springfield Pics

The Pics split the past week, picking up a win against the Boston Junior Bruins. Luke Haynes set up two of the goals, including on Nick Gutin’s eventual game-winning goal (one of two for Gutin in the game – both set up by Haynes). The ‘05 from East Longmeadow, Mass., moved to the Elite from playing last year with the Pics’ prestigious 16U team. 

 

Defense: Benjamin Dias, Bridgewater Bandits

Dias is an ‘06 who came up out of the Mount St. Charles Academy 14U AAA squad and has split his time already between the Premier and Elite. In the team’s close 3-1 win against the Springfield Pics, he assisted on all three goals and now has eight points in seven Elite games. He also has four assists in 15 Premier contests. 

 

Goaltender: Chase Ebeyer, Springfield Pics 

Ebeyer (‘04/Scottsdale, Ariz.) has been knocking on the door for his first win, and now has it – along with a three-game streak of going unbeaten in regulation. On Nov. 12, he stopped 39 of 41 Boston Junior Bruins shots to help his team to a 3-2 victory. Since Oct. 29, he is 1-0-1-1, and overall on the season he holds a very impressive .932 save percentage. 

 

Mid-Atlantic Division

Forward: Eddie Kienzle, New York Aviators 

The veteran Kienzle (‘05/Brooklyn, N.Y.) was on fire last weekend for the New York Aviators. Kienzle had four assists last Saturday against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights, helping to bring the Aviators the win 5-4.

 

Defense: John Alexander, Rockets Hockey Club

Alexander (‘03/Los Angeles, Calif.) of the Rockets Hockey Club had assists in two straight games facing off against the Richmond Generals, bringing the Rockets a 2-0 shutout Saturday.

 

Goaltender: Michael Grima, Rockets Hockey Club

Grima (‘03/Staten Island, N.Y.) of Rockets Hockey Club had an another amazing game this weekend, 33-save shutout over defending National Champion Richmond Generals. This is his third of the season. His GAA stands at 2.90 and his save percentage is at .925.
