THE USPHL NO LONGER MAINTAINS A MANDATORY FOREIGN PLAYER MEDICAL INSURANCE PLAN.
THE LEAGUE STRONGLY RECOMMENDS THAT PLAYERS OBTAIN INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR INJURIES ARISING FROM HOCKEY RELATED ACTIVITIES.
The insured plan Options #1 and #2 are being made available to Players & Parents, but are not sponsored by any league.
THESE OPTIONS ARE VOLUNTARY AND NOT MANDATORY.
New for the 2023-2024 Season
All players in the USPHL must sign insurance disclaimer, waiver and release of liability agreement in order to register in the USPHL.
Players and Parents acknowledge and understand that the organization and league have strongly recommended that they obtain insurance coverage for injuries and or losses arising from the hockey activities and, if they elect not to obtain or maintain such insurance, the decision not to do so is their voluntary and knowing act. Further acknowledge and understand that in the event they sustain an injury of any kind, they will be fully responsible for any costs or expenses incurred to treat said injury and agree that they will not seek reimbursement from the organization or league and agree not to commence any action in a court of law to compel the organization or the league to pay for same.
